We are excited to announce that the Animal Justice Party has officially kicked off our 2022 Federal Election campaign in Queensland. Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday 16 April 2022, and a massive thank you to our organiser Christine McCoy.

Our members, candidates and supporters gathered on the lands of the Turrbal People at Wholesome Bellies to share delicious vegan food, to launch our federal election manifesto, and to celebrate working towards “a world where people and animals live together in harmony with our planet” (MC David Gilbard). 

Our election launch marked the beginning of an exciting time for our Party. We are better placed than ever before to contest this year’s Federal Election. We have 2 incredible Senate candidates, Mackenzie Severns and Sue Weber, and many equally inspiring Lower House candidates - read more. At the core of our Party and the election launch is the knowledge of the “power that we have in politics to get real tangible change for animals” (Mackenzie Severns,  Senate candidate).
