Join Our State Committee

Are you ready to take action for animals and help steer the evolution of the Animal Justice Party in QLD? This is your chance!

The State Committee is the engine behind all we do as a state branch, with spots available for:

• Ordinary Committee Members 

Why Join?

• Shape big decisions - From launching campaigns to growing our community, the committee sets the tone and direction for everything we achieve in QLD.
• Lead your own portfolio - Whether your vibe is social media, events, fundraising, policy, or something new, you’ll have the chance to make it your own.
• Weekly volunteering - Be prepared to get hands-on, it’s a weekly commitment, but it’s also a weekly chance to change the world for animals.
• Grow with us - It’s the best way to develop leadership skills, connect with fellow advocates, and leave a real pawprint on animal justice in your state.

Are You Eligible?

Nominate if you:

• Have been an AJP member for at least 12 months and are part of this State Branch.
• Are vegan, on the electoral roll, and not a Parliamentarian or AJP employee.
• Can get the thumbs up from two other financial, long-term AJP members not employed by the party.

Local Council Candidates

Have you ever wished your local area championed animals, people, and the planet? Local councils directly shape the world we all live in: public parks, community events, school programs, food policy, animal management and so much more!

Why Run for Council with the Animal Justice Party?

• Create real change on the issues that matter most, such as local animal management, planning and development and community standards.
• Represent ALL animals, not just pets, but every sentient being whose wellbeing depends on compassionate decisions at the grassroots level
