Jennifer Horsburgh, Treasurer

Jennifer lives on the Gold Coast, on the land of the Yugambeh. She has a science degree with a major in pure maths and has spent most of her working life as a senior maths teacher - a great background to take on the position of Treasurer! Her passion for animal protection began at a young age, while reading Black Beauty. She joined the Animal Justice Party after seeing the name on TV some years ago - it was a perfect fit for her values. She has been Gold Coast Regional Group Leader for 3 years and has been involved in council, state and federal elections. Her passion for trying to improve animal lives also applies to her other activities including volunteering at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and helping with the Wildcare hotline.
