Susan lives in the beautiful Scenic Rim and has been a party member for 4 years.
Susan previously worked as a Business Manager in many Queensland State Schools and was a Veterinary Nurse for 6 years and a business owner, now retired from full-time work she volunteered with AJP in January 2026, became a Committee Member and Delegate in July 2026 and currently is the initial contact for potential volunteers who contact the Party through the website or other means, volunteers are our future, we need you!
If you would like to volunteer just see the ‘volunteer’ link on the Qld AJP website and you will soon be talking to Susan!
She firmly believes that every action helps; small actions build into movements over time and whether you have 5 minutes to sign a petition or share a post, or whether you have a couple of hours a week to help, every single thing is valuable to the Party.
Susan is committed to helping change the disconnect between the way Australians (and the world) think about animals, as “things” to be used and the reality that they are sentient beings with a right to a life which is natural, safe and free from pain caused by others.
It takes courage to create change, Susan invites you to be courageous and join AJP in bringing about a brighter, healthier world.
