Animal Justice Party Qld is better placed than ever before to contest this year's federal election, with our two Senate candidates, Mackenzie Severns and Sue Weber, and lower house candidates running in more than a dozen electorates across the state. We are officially kicking off our campaign to put kindness into politics with our launch party at Wholesome Bellies in Woolloongabba.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon filled with delicious vegan food and beverages, and inspiring speeches from our candidates and Party members. Our team can be a powerful voice for animal and environmental protection but they need your help. Find out how you can get involved or simply come along to enjoy and share in the positive atmosphere. This is a fundraiser and all proceeds will support our federal election campaigning.

While the major parties continue to ignore animal and environmental issues, the Animal Justice Party will be campaigning loudly for animal rights in law. Come along to our launch where we will also unveil and reveal the details of the key platforms underlying our federal election manifesto:

• We will declare a climate emergency
• We will stop land clearing
• We will ban live exports
• We will save our precious Australian wildlife
• We will protect lives with our new Federal Animal Protection body
• We will transition the economy away from animal exploitation towards new cruelty-free industries
• We will act to prevent future pandemics

Join us on the day and be part of the only political movement speaking up for people, animals and the planet.

Please leave your companion animals in the care of a responsible adult as this event is not suitable for either. Registered guide/assistance/medical service companions excepted. Please ensure your companion animal is safely collared, kept on a short lead and wearing a visible service companion vest. We recommend you visit Wholesome Bellies ahead of this event to ensure the venue will be safe and comfortable for your companion animal. We are expecting a sold out event and as such, seating will be limited. 

Your ticket includes a selection of delicious vegan finger food throughout the event, including desserts, and complimentary still and sparkling water. Additional non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased on the day. Please BYO alcoholic beverages as the venue is not licensed to sell alcohol. 

All food will be made fresh on the premises and will include:

• Mini vegan gourmet pizzas
• Pakoras
• Bruschetta – pea and mint
• Mini vegan sausage rolls
• Mini stuffed mushrooms

Member tickets purchased will be checked against current membership records. If there are any discrepancies, you will be contacted by an Animal Justice Party Queensland Committee representative. Membership renewals will be available at the event. Non-members will have the option to become a member of the Animal Justice Party Queensland at the event.

 What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Public transport is available, visit translink.com.au for more information.  Street parking is available, but we do suggest you allow sufficient time to locate a safe place to park your vehicle.

If you plan on consuming alcohol, please drink responsibly and consider a taxi, uber or other rideshare service to get you to and from this event safely.

Is there wheelchair access?
