We are excited to be hosting a dinner event in Brisbane as part of this year's annual National Conference - please join us!

The National Conference is the AJP's annual, members-only weekend where you get to hear from animal rights politicians, activists and thinkers from around the world. It is being hosted in person in Sydney and you can also attend online. 

As part of the conference, AJP Queensland are holding a fundraising conference dinner at Loving Hut in Brisbane on Saturday 15 October for local members who are attending the conference online. This is so we too can attend the conference AND have the chance to socialise and discuss the day's presentations while enjoying a delicious 3-course vegan meal. Plus the funds raised will help AJP Queensland continue our efforts to be a voice for animals in government!

Your ticket to the Brisbane fundraising conference dinner includes:

• Mixed entree per person
• Your choice of one of two mains - Singapore Noodles or Golden Curry (onion is optional with both of these mains and both are gluten free)
• Individual dessert.

Non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased separately on the night. The Loving Hut has a strict no alcohol policy and we ask that guests please respect that and do not BYO alcoholic beverages.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Loving Hut is located at 2/1420 Logan Road, Mount Gravatt QLD 4122.

Public transport is available, visit translink.com.au for more information and to plan your journey.

Free street parking is also available on Logan Road and in nearby side streets. There is also a free, single-level, undercover car park underneath the restaurant which is accessible via Logan Road.

Is there wheelchair access?

The venue is wheelchair friendly and has wheelchair friendly toilets. If you have any concerns about mobility and/or access to the restaurant please contact our event organiser at [email protected] 

Is the event dog friendly?

Unfortunately this event is not suitable for your companion animals to also attend so please leave them in the care of a responsible adult while you are at the dinner. Registered guide/assistance/medical service companions excepted. In this instance, please ensure your companion animal is safely collared, kept on a short lead and wearing a visible service companion vest and you may also wish to visit Loving Hut beforehand to ensure the venue will be safe and comfortable for your companion animal.
