Lindon Cox, Convenor

Based in Meanjin / Brisbane, Lindon has been an active Animal Justice Party member since 2016 and helped the Queensland Branch become officially registered for state elections in 2020. Lindon has committee experience with vegan community outreach groups and in 2021 obtained a Diploma of Governance, specialising in not-for-profits. His passion for animal advocacy flourished while studying Law and Criminology, completing an Honours thesis researching animal cruelty policing in Queensland. He says the systemic problems require change that can only come through legal and political reform. Lindon was previously the AJP’s Brisbane Regional Group Leader and has served on the national Board of Directors. Currently, Lindon is a member of the Policy Working Group.
